harpsiccord asked: Concerning etiquette, oh, great Cthulhu, I'm not sure who we should be sacrificing to you. People we love, or people we hate? In theory, it would make sense to sacrifice beloved ones, but if we did that, we'd have nobody left to sacrifice. But offering you someone we are indifferent to or even dislike seems like an insult. It's quite a burden for one to consider, especially if one has gone insane. On a more personal note, if I may, are the Great Old Ones doing Secret Santa with each other?

Cthulhu cares not for your pitiful human relationships, and so it matters not if it is someone you love or hate. What’s important for me is that you kill them brutally, and make sure you’ve drawn your runes and said your rites correctly. That way I get a tortured, insane soul to consume. (Oh, and congratulations to you for going completely mad.)

No, we’re not doing Secret Santa as we’re celebrating Hanukkah. We are doing presents all eight nights, and so far everyone’s gotten good gifts. Last night, Yig got me a cuttlefish that looks just like me.
